Entertainment Application - 2025 WICF

Description

We are excited to announce that we are seeking talented artists and performers to be part of the 2025 Inaugural Whidbey Island Culture Fest taking place on May 3^rd and 4^th. We welcome a diverse range of entertainment, including musicians, dancers, and other performers who can engage our community.

Entertainment acts will be scheduled on both Saturday May 3^rd and Sunday May 4^th between the hours of 1:00pm and 5:00pm. 

Submission Guidelines:

1.     Who Can Apply: We encourage artists from all cultural backgrounds to submit their proposals.

2.     What to Include: Please provide a brief bio, links to your social media or previous performances or recordings (length to be no longer than 15 minutes), a description of your act and your preferred date/time to perform.

3.     Deadline for Submissions: February 16, 2025

Vetting Process:

All submissions will be reviewed by our Whidbey Island Culture Fest Planning committee, which will evaluate proposals based on the following criteria:

1.     Quality of Performance: Artistic merit and professionalism.

2.     Audience Engagement: Ability to connect with and entertain the audience.

3.     Relevance to Festival Theme: Alignment with our festival’s goal.

4.     Diversity and Inclusion: We strive for a diverse lineup that reflects a variety of voices and perspectives.

Shortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview or a live audition. Notifications of acceptance will be sent out by March 3^rd.
