DESCRIPTION:We are excited to announce that we are seeking talented artists and performers to be part of the 2025 Inaugural Whidbey Island Culture Fest taking place on May 3rd and 4th. We welcome a diverse range of entertainment\, including musicians\, dancers\, and other performers who can engage our community.\n\nEntertainment acts will be scheduled on both Saturday May 3rd and Sunday May 4th between the hours of 1:00 pm and 5:00pm. \n\nSubmission Guidelines:\n\n1. Who Can Apply: We encourage artists from all cultural backgrounds to submit their proposals.\n\n2. What to Include: Please provide a brief bio\, links to your social media or previous performances or recordings (length to be no longer than 15 minutes)\, a description of your act and your preferred date/time to perform.\n\nVetting Process:\n\nAll submissions will be reviewed by our Whidbey Island Culture Fest Planning committee\, which will evaluate proposals based on the following criteria:\n\n1. Quality of Performance: Artistic merit and professionalism.\n\n2. Audience Engagement: Ability to connect with and entertain the audience.\n\n3. Relevance to Festival Theme: Alignment with our festival's goal.\n\n4. Diversity and Inclusion: We strive for a diverse lineup that reflects a variety of voices and perspectives.\n\nShortlisted applicants may be invited for an interview or a live audition.
