Description
What would it look like for Camellia Sinensis tea to become a new regional specialty of the coastal Pacific Northwest? This talk will explore how we can imagine making tea that is unique to our bioregion. We will consider the history of tea production and how it intersects with the specific opportunities and challenges presented by our environment and economy, including a peek into current work being undertaken in academia, and by growers large and small.
Please join us at the Tea House for this amazing presentation by our good friend Gavin. Along with his depth of knowledge and enthusiasm for tea, we'll be sampling teas processed by him from Minto Island Growers.
