North Whidbey Hearts & Hammers Accepting Applications for 2025 Home Repair Workday

North Whidbey Island, WA – North Whidbey Hearts & Hammers is excited to announce that we are now accepting homeowner assistance applications for our highly anticipated 2025 Workday. On June 7, 2025, our dedicated team of volunteers will come together to perform essential home repairs for 15 selected homeowners on North Whidbey Island. This initiative is completely free of charge for the homeowners and focuses on improving safety and quality of life within our community.

How to Apply: Eligible homeowners can submit their applications now. To be considered, applications must demonstrate a clear need for repairs that enhance the safety and livability of their homes. The deadline for submissions is March 31, 2025. Applications can be obtained by visiting nwheartsandhammers@gmail.com or contacting us directly at 360-499-2005.

Supporting Our Mission: Community Dinner & Dessert Auction
To support these meaningful projects, we invite the community to join us for a special fundraising event on February 7, 2025. Hosted at Living Word in Oak Harbor, this event will feature:
● Lasagna Dinner: Served by donation, ensuring everyone can participate and contribute.
● Dessert Auction: Indulge in delectable desserts provided by local restaurants and bakeries. Bid on your favorites and help fund building supplies for our 2025 projects.
Doors open at 5:30 PM, and we encourage everyone to come hungry and ready to support a great cause.
