Recreation Aides assists the Recreation Manager or other District staff in providing supervised recreation activities such as sports, games, arts and crafts, educational sessions, special events, and field trip experiences for various age groups. 

• Uses creativity to suggest activities, sports, crafts, and special activities in collaboration with the Recreation Manager.
• Operates programs according to District and other appropriate guidelines. 
• Assists in maintaining related records and reports. 
• Assist in the distribution of marketing materials to the public. 
• ·Sets up and cleans recreation facilities as required. 
• ·Inventories and inspects equipment and supplies. 
•  Reports safety hazards and/or injuries immediately according to procedures.

Must be at least 15 years old.

Salary range as of January 1, 2025

 $16.66-19.00 per hour depending on years of experience and qualifications.
