Description
Join us for this unique performance showcasing a blend of Ghanaian and Western percussion ensemble music, highlighting the powerful rhythms and intricate patterns that are a cornerstone of both musical traditions. The concert is the culmination of the Percussion on the Rock workshop, where students and musicians will bring their practice to the stage in a performance offering an exciting cross-cultural musical experience. POTR Faculty include Dr. Patrick Roulet (Western Washington University), James Culley (Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Percussion Group Cincinnati), Erica Montgomery (Ret. USAF Band, Whidbey's Saratoga Orchestra) and Paul Hansen (5th Avenue, Pacific Northwest Ballet)
