2023 Food Vendor APPLICATIONS

It’s that time of year again when we are starting to organize the Independence Festival.

The street fair is scheduled for July 1, 10am - 9pm and July 2, 11am - 7pm. Application and payment are due on or before June 9, 2023. The Independence Day Vendors will be notified upon acceptance via email on June 16, 2023. Please make sure that the person listed is the best contact and that all information provided is accurate. 

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER OR VENDOR NON-PARTICIPATION.

All vendors are required to submit a current CERTIFICATE OF LIABILITY with the Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce and the City of Oak Harbor listed as Additionally Insured. 

Food vendors must also submit a current copy of their FOOD SERVICE PERMIT and FOOD HANDLERS CARD, as per the City of Oak Harbor's Special Event Guide.

THESE DOCUMENTS MUST BE SUBMITTED PRIOR TO THE EVENT FOR PARTICIPATION. Email all required documents to events@oakharborchamber.com.

Please get your application and required documents in early to save your space. A confirmation email will be sent to you after we receive your completed forms. The applications are collected by the Chamber through the Registration button on this page.

We will send more detailed information with specified locations and time frames to the all participants leading up to the event. Thank you for your interest in Independence Day 2023. We look forward to working with you!

The Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce believes in equal opportunities for all vendors and we will seek to fairly evaluate all applications. We reserve the right to deny acceptance of any applicant if past experience or other factors warrant exclusion.

As a participant of a Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce Event, I fully agree to the following:
I recognize and acknowledge that I assume full risk of any injury, property damage or loss which I many sustain as a result my participation in the Independence Festival. Furthermore, I understand that I should carry my own insurance and that I store my products at my own risk.
Vendors are responsible for charging any applicable sales tax for items sold. All sales tax must be submitted to the state. Knowing taxes and licensing is the law, and the responsibility of the vendor.

All vendors will be responsible for move in/move out and set up of their own booth. Vendors will receive specific instructions for load in and load out before the event. 
No refunds for cancellations due to no-show or inclement weather. 

All vendors must clean up their booth area before leaving.
