Why do you love Deception Pass State Park? If you can answer that question with a photo, you could win great local prizes and have your work featured in our 2014 calendar. The Deception Pass Park Foundation?s photo contest seeks your pictures of Deception Pass State Park. The winning photos, as selected by our panel of judges (including representatives of our Foundation, Deception Pass State Park and the Whidbey Island Camera Club), will be featured in our 2014 calendar that we will be producing and selling to raise funds to support education and resource protection in the park. Winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded at the Washington State Parks Centennial Celebration that will be held at Deception Pass on August 3rd, 2013. Submitted photos should represent why you love Deception Pass State Park. Photos may feature scenery, people, nature or whatever else strikes your imagination and may be taken in any area of the park (not just the bridge).
