DESCRIPTION:THE FOURTH ANNUAL WHIDBEY WAGS PET PARADE & FAIR\n\n\n\nWe're thrilled to be hosting our 4th Annual  Whidbey Wags Pet Parade event!\n\n\n\nThe Oak Harbor Chamber Whidbey Wags Pet Parade is a fun\, family-friendly event that brings the community together to celebrate pets and local businesses. Vendors have the opportunity to engage with pet owners and attendees\, showcase products or services\, and build brand awareness in a lively\, high-traffic setting. With costumed pets\, parade entries\, and strong community turnout\, this event offers great visibility and a positive\, local experience for participating vendors.\n\n\n\n \n\nHow to Apply & What to Expect:\n\nThe Independence Day Planning Committee will look over the applications and applicants will be notified their acceptance status\, and emailed an invoice This is also when a current Certificate of Insurance* is due. Email document to Events@OakHarborChamber.com.\n\n*The Certificate of Insurance MUST have Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce and City of Oak Harbor listed as Additionally Insured.\n\nSpecial Dates for Application Process:\n\nMay 27th - Acceptance notices will be sent along with Invoices with a Due date of 6/19\n\nJune 19th - If accepted\, payment and Certificate of Insurance are due\n\nJune 24th - Staging and breakdown/departing instructions will be emailed\n\nJuly 3rd   Whidbey Wags Pet Parade (Setup will begin at 3PM in Flintstone Park) \n\n\n\n\n\nImportant terms and conditions for Applicants:\n\nSubmitting this application does not guarantee a spot at the Independence Day Celebration.  Payments and Certification of Insurance are due by June 19th.\n\nAccepted vendors will be invoiced with a payment due date of June 19th. By submitting payment\, vendors acknowledge and agree that all fees are non-refundable. This includes\, but is not limited to\, cancellation by the vendor for any reason or unforeseen circumstances such as weather\, natural disasters\, or other acts beyond the control of the event organizers. Failure to submit payment and the required documentation by June 19th will result in non-participation\, and no refunds will be issued in such cases.\n\nThe Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce believes in equal opportunities for all vendors\, and we will seek to fairly evaluate all applications. We reserve the right to deny acceptance of any applicant if past experience or other factors warrant exclusion.\n\nAs a participant of a Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce event\, I fully agree to the following:\n\nI recognize and acknowledge that I assume full risk of any injury\, property damage or loss which I many sustain as a result my participation in the Independence Day Celebration. Furthermore\, I understand that I should carry my own insurance and that I store my products at my own risk.\n\nVendors are responsible for charging any applicable sales tax for items sold. All sales tax must be submitted to the state. Knowing taxes and licensing is the law\, and the responsibility of the vendor.\n\nAll vendors will be responsible for move in/move out and set up of their own booth.
