DESCRIPTION:WHIDBEY'S SARATOGA ORCHESTRA PRESENTS A VERY MERRY WHIDBEY CHRISTMAS\n\n \n\nWhidbey's Saratoga Orchestra and music director Anna Edwards invites you to celebrate the season with Holiday Favorites and more on Saturday December 16\, 2:00pm at Coupeville High School Commons.\n\n \n\nThe program features a telling of the timeless classic\, Peter and the Wolf by Serge Prokofiev with Karl Olsen serving as narrator as well as three "sing-along" choruses from Handel's Messiah. Those wishing to be part of an ad hoc choir may arrive at 1pm for a brush up rehearsal.\n\n \n\nSpecial guests include local favorites The Shifty Sailors as well the sensational Troy Chapman and his Hot Club of Troy Django Jazz Trio with Eric Vanderbilt-Mathews and Keegan Harshman swinging the festive tunes of the Holidays. \n\n \n\nGeneral Admission concert tickets are $30 for Adults\, $25 for Seniors/Military and free admission for students 17 and under. Pre-concert ticket sales with cash or check at Click Music in Oak Harbor\, bayleaf in Coupeville and Moonraker Books in Langley.
