It's a chance to honor the diverse stories that make up our nation's history and celebrate the values that bring us together. We welcome vendors from all backgrounds to apply and be a part of this patriotic celebration showcasing the many flavors\, crafts\, and cultures that make Whidbey Island so special.\n\n \n\n \nEvent Details\n\n\nVendors and merchants will set up in Windjammer Park on July 4th. Vendors are required to be set up and present from 11:00 AM 6:00 PM on both days. Staging will begin the morning of July 4th. An email outlining staging\, breakdown\, and departure procedures will be sent on or before June 24th.\n\nA set pricing structure is preferred for all applicants.\n\nSecurity will be provided overnight on July 3rd & 4th. As the first layer of protection for your property\, it is recommended that you keep your booth and items secure.\n\n\n \n\n\n\n\nHow to Apply & What to Expect:\n\nThe Independence Day Planning Committee will review all applications. Applicants will be notified of their acceptance status and emailed an invoice. At that time\, a current current Certificate of Insurance* will also be due. Please email documentation to Events@OakHarborChamber.com.\n\n*The Certificate of Insurance MUST have Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce and City of Oak Harbor listed as Additionally Insured.\n\n \n\nSpecial Dates for Application Process:\n\n\n May 20th - Acceptance notices will be sent along with Invoices with a Due date of 6/1\n June 1st - If accepted\, payment and Certificate of Insurance are due\n June 24th - Staging and breakdown/departing instructions will be emailed\n July 4th-5th Independence Day Celebration \n\n \n\nImportant Terms and Conditions for Applicants:\n \n\nSubmitting this application does not guarantee a spot at the Independence Day Celebration. By submitting payment\, vendors acknowledge and agree that all fees are non-refundable. This includes\, but is not limited to\, cancellation by the vendor for any reason or unforeseen circumstances such as weather\, natural disasters\, or other acts beyond the control of the event organizers. Failure to submit payment and required documentation by June 1st will result in non-participation\, and no refunds will be issued.\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce believes in equal opportunities for all vendors\, and we will seek to fairly evaluate all applications. We reserve the right to deny acceptance of any applicant if past experience or other factors warrant exclusion.\n\nAs a participant of a Greater Oak Harbor Chamber of Commerce event\, I fully agree to the following:\n\n\n I recognize and acknowledge that I assume full risk of any injury\, property damage or loss which I many sustain as a result my participation in the Independence Day Celebration. Furthermore\, I understand that I should carry my own insurance and that I store my products at my own risk.\n Vendors are responsible for charging any applicable sales tax for items sold. All sales tax must be submitted to the state. Knowing taxes and licensing is the law\, and the responsibility of the vendor.\n All vendors will be responsible for move in/move out and set up of their own booth.
