SUMMARY:The Octette Bridge Club
DESCRIPTION:The Octette Bridge Club tells the story of eight Irish-American and very Roman Catholic sisters Martha (Cori Siggens)\, Mary (Sheila Terry)\, Nora (Rusty Hendrix)\, Alice (Jaime Montoya)\, Ann (Lisa Judd)\, Connie (Ingrid Schwalbe)\, Lil (Emily Scheidel)\, and Betsy (Becky LeMay) who are having their picture taken by Robert Foster (Warren Rogers) for a story on the third anniversary of the Octette Bridge Club. All eight sisters live in Providence\, Rhode Island\, and meet every other Friday evening for home baked pie\, titillating gossip\, banter and bridge. However\, the real comedy and drama begin when they put down the cards\, and family secrets start to reveal themselves. You are captivated by the deja-vu of conversations we\, as children heard\, from the backseats of cars\, around the dining table we were playing under in the kitchen where our mothers and aunts cleaned up after Thanksgiving dinner.
