DESCRIPTION:The Bard's Boutique Artists' Spotlight presents:  Poetry in the Afternoon\, The Cusp\n\nPlease join us upstairs in the Front Room Gallery at the Bayview Cash Store from 1-3 p.m. Sunday\, Sept. 22\, the Fall Equinox\, as we welcome poets\, poets\, poets! \n\nThese poets come from near and far and include Robin Barre\, John Burgess\, Mary Elizabeth Himes\, Dallas Huth\, Victory Lee Schouten\, Brooke Stout\, Eden Trenor and Faith Wilder.\n\nEach poet brings 10 minutes' worth of poetry on the theme of The Cusp\, that period of astrological transition between Virgo and Libra\; that moment when the sun will be directly over the Earth's equator and everyone on the globe shares equal parts light and dark\; 12 hours each of sun and moon.\n\nWhat will these poets say from the Cusp\, on this 265th day of the year and first day of autumn?\n\nPoetry books by some of these poets will be offered for sale after the reading and everyone is welcome to browse the Bard's Boutique for more delightful\, local artist fare.\n\nThe Bard's Boutique in the Bayview Cash Store (now one hundred years old!) is located at 5603 Bayview Road in Langley.\n\nPoetry in the Afternoon is a pay-what-you-will donation event to support Island Shakespeare Festival.
