'Experience India\,' a cultural event hosted by Skagit Valley College's South Asian Club will be on June 16 and will be fundraising for student scholarships. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWashington Secretary of State Steve Hobbs will be attending and delivering opening remarks. \n\n \n\n'Experience India' will begin at 5 p.m. at the Ferndale Events Center in Ferndale. This free event is open to all community members. Cultural and formal clothing is encouraged but not required. Assistance with transportation is available upon request. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe evening will feature cultural performances and an Indian food buffet.
