Whidbey Island, WA – July 2025 – Whidbey’s Saratoga Orchestra invites the community to feel the beat with Percussion on the Rock, a dynamic two-part musical celebration that blends global rhythms, community participation, and professional artistry. The event includes a free Community Drum Circle on Thursday, July 24, and the exciting Percussion World Music Festival concert on Saturday, July 26.

The festivities kick off with the Annual Community Drum Circle, taking place at Pop-Up Plaza on Pioneer Way in downtown Oak Harbor. This interactive, high-energy event invites all ages to join in a shared rhythm experience. Drums and percussion instruments will be provided—just bring your enthusiasm and positive energy! This event also offers a sneak peek of what’s to come at Saturday’s mainstage concert.
